I was a mixture of dubious and desperate when I initially purchased this item. I was annoying my wife with ever increasing frequency and that had to stop. The settings vary from very mild to outright prickly (0-9). It turns off automatically after 8 hours. I set mine to be mildly unpleasant (6). Your setting will depend on your unique needs. Over the past few weeks my snoring has reduced dramatically and verified by the Ms. It does not stop my snoring but reduces its volume and frequency significantly. This started to happen quickly. It is comfortable and unobtrusive to use in bed. A green blinking led shows that you have good contact vs a red led. Once it detects 3 sequential snores it goes into a 5 second burst of mild shocks.
There are 2 shortcomings; one is that the electrode gel pads don’t seem to last long and start to roll up after a week or so passes. Replacements are rather expensive. This may be due to how I move about in my sleep. The other issue is sort of funny. If your partner also snores they can set it off if your wrist is fairly close to them.
I find this remedy far more desirable to using a mouthpiece, sleeping elsewhere, etc.

This helped me get a full night’s sleep. I put it on my husband’s wrist and set it to 3 or 4. As long as it is not under the covers or under the pillow, it works. If the noise goes above 65db, then the device sends an electrical impulse out. The impulse makes the person readjust and the snoring stops. After just three days, my husband was not snoring any more. This is a wonderful device and I am so happy it worked. But, if you have a snoring problem and none of the over the counter snoring aids/devices work for you, you should go to your doctor for further evaluation because it could be sleep apnea, which is a lot more serious.

At nearly half the price as the other retailers at amazon for only around $35, I thought I’d give this a try since it works on the same principle my wife uses now to stop my snoring which is to give me a nudge.
The device works by having 2 gel electrodes stuck to the back of the watch. You attach it to your wrist about 1 inch down and it is adhesive so it sticks to your skin. The band detaches from one side of the watch and it is a bit awkward to clip it back on. When you take it off, you have to be careful not to pull off or damgage the gel electrodes. Mine already seem to be coming off the watch. They give you a plastic covering to put on the back of the watch when not in use. They give you 3 sets of electrodes.
You turn a dial to turn it on to a level between 1 and 9. To test, you press the button on top 3 times and it delivers what feels like a pinch to your wrist. You can also kind of feel it running up the nerve to your finger and making it twich a bit. I have used it at level 3 since that seems to be plenty. At level 8, it starts to feel like needles. I wouldn’t describe it as being like a painful shock, just annoying like if someone put tape on your skin and tugged at it. The stimulation lasts around 5 seconds.
I’ve only had it 3 days, and I can’t tell whether or not I’m snoring less, although first indications are that I didn’t snore. It has waken me on occasion, so I know it is firing. I have had it fire when I was just moving around, so it is possible to get a few false zaps. It works by just listening to the outside environment. It is a little difficult to get it to fire with simulated snores. It is easier if you just count 1,2,3 slowly as is suggested in the manual.
In conclusion, I can’t say whether this has stopped my snoring, the manual shows it takes weeks for this device to have an effect, but the device works like it is supposed to and I can use it. Hope it actually stops my snorning.
